In August 2003, we hiked gorgeous Robson — the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies — for 5 days.

The weather was terrific though all highways into Jasper (at one point in time) were closed due to forest fire.

Using Berg Lake as a base camp, we did most of the popular Robson day hikes. It was a treat not to have to carry a heavy pack.

Hikers at Berg Lake dubbed us the Saskatoon Group of Seven:
